Whenever I watch an episode of Game of Thrones, I wish I could be there. I love Game of Thrones not only because of the storyline & characters but also their outfits & the filming locations! The locations are so beautiful & enchanting that they seem so real. I wish to visit them all, and I bet you feel the same.
Here are the Game of Thrones locations- Reel to Real:
King’s Landing- Dubrovnik, Croatia
The capital of the 7 kingdoms. It is the place where all of it began! There are multiple locations in the city where popular scenes from the show were shot and guess what? They are all open for a visit! Even the Iron Throne from the show is located in the city.
Royal Palace Of Dorne- Real Alcázar Palace, Seville, Spain

Winterfell- Doune Castle, Doune, Scotland
Built in the 13th century, the Doune Castle has a rich history of its own. In the show, it is the castle is the home for The Starks. It would feel so good to visit the place where Robert Baratheon asked Ned Stark to be the hand of the king. This is the castle where Jamie pushes away Bran resulting him in becoming the three-eyed raven!
Cersei’s Walk Of Shame- The Stardun, the main street of Dubrovnik
Cersei’s walk of shame was one of my favorite scenes. The epic scene happened right on the main street of Dubrovnik city. Who would want to miss such a beautiful location?
Meereen- Klis Fortress, Croatia
The land where Daenerys started to rule and abolished slavery. It is where Danny started her rule. This fort is not only a historical landmark in fiction, but also in real life.

Towers of Joy- Castle Of Zafra, Spain
Missed out on this one? Do not remember this castle? Well, how could you? This is the place where Lyanna Stark gives birth to Jon Snow, or shall I say Aegon Targaryen. This place is a historic landmark for sure!

White Walkers are one of the best parts of the show! They live here! Do you know why the show chose this location? Because it smells danger. It is the second largest glacier in Europe. A fascinating home for fascinating characters!
